First attempted in 1994. There were no documented guides or maps for this route.
We used military maps to plan the ride. At the the time some roads were unmetalled and not sign posted. On one occasion, we completely missed a turn and only looking back and noticing a lorry bouncing off along a track across a field, did we realise where to head.
